Terms and Conditions – YOKU BUSS AB

These terms and conditions ("Terms") apply between YOKU BUSS AB ("Company") and the customer ("Customer") for booking and performance of transport services. By confirming a booking, the Customer is deemed to have read and accepted these terms. The Terms apply to the extent that nothing else has been agreed in writing between the parties.

1. Booking Terms

1.1 Booking and Contract Formation

Booking can be made via email, telephone or through the Company's booking form.

A binding agreement is deemed to have been entered into only when the Company has confirmed the booking in writing.

In connection with the booking confirmation, information about price, date, times and any additional services is provided.

1.2 Price Information

All prices stated by the Company include value-added tax (VAT), unless otherwise expressly stated.

The stated price is based on the information provided by the Customer at booking. If the scope of the trip changes or additional costs arise (e.g., road tolls, parking fees, bridge fees, ferry fees or extra waiting time), the Company has the right to adjust the price accordingly.

1.3 Payment Terms

Advance payment applies as a general rule, unless another written payment agreement has been entered into.

Payment must be received by the Company no later than three (3) business days before the departure date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Payment must otherwise be made no later than the date stated on the invoice or in the booking confirmation.

In case of non-payment or late payment, the Company has the right to charge default interest according to the Interest Act and a reminder fee.

2. Cancellation and Change Rules

2.1 Cancellation by Customer

Cancellation must be made in writing to the Company.

Upon cancellation, the following applies:

  • More than 3 business days before departure date: Cancellation can be made without cost.
  • 1–3 business days before departure date: Customer is charged 50% of the total booking amount.
  • Less than 24 hours before departure date: Customer is charged 100% of the total booking amount.

2.2 Changes to Booked Trip

Changes must be notified in writing.

The Company strives to accommodate changes to the extent it is practically possible.

Changes that affect the trip's layout, duration or scope may result in price adjustment.

2.3 Cancellation by Company

The Company has the right to, without liability for damages, cancel or terminate the assignment in circumstances that the Company could not reasonably have foreseen or influenced, such as:

  • serious technical faults,
  • extreme weather conditions,
  • traffic disruptions,
  • driver illness or other obstacles,
  • force majeure-like situations.

In such cases, the amount paid for the cancelled service is refunded, which constitutes the Company's maximum liability.

3. Customer Obligations and Responsibilities

3.1 Passenger Conduct and Order Rules

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that all passengers follow the driver's instructions and behave in a manner that does not jeopardize safety, order or the condition of the vehicle.

Damage caused by passengers is charged to the Customer.

Consumption of alcohol on board is only permitted after explicit written approval from the Company.

3.2 Times

The Customer is responsible for ensuring that agreed times are followed.

Delays caused by the Customer or passengers may be charged according to the applicable hourly rate.

3.3 Safety

Passengers must use seat belts when available.

The Customer is responsible for informing travelers about these safety rules.

4. YOKU BUSS AB's Responsibility

4.1 Performance of Transport

The Company is responsible for providing a traffic-safe and approved vehicle and a qualified driver.

The Company follows applicable legislation regarding driving and rest times.

4.2 Delays and Obstacles

The Company is not responsible for delays or disruptions caused by circumstances outside the Company's control, such as traffic accidents, road works, weather or other unforeseen events.

The Company is not responsible for indirect costs or consequential damages such as missed connections, extra tickets, accommodation or similar.

4.3 Baggage

The Customer is responsible for their personal belongings.

The Company does not compensate for loss or damage to valuables unless they have been handed over to the Company for special storage.

5. Optional Services

Additional services such as guide, trailer or special equipment must be booked in advance and charged according to the applicable price list.

6. Personal Data

Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and is used only to administer bookings, communication and invoicing.

7. Force Majeure

The Company is exempt from liability to the extent that performance is prevented by circumstances outside the Company's control, such as natural disaster, strike, government decision or other extraordinary events.

8. Applicable Law and Dispute Resolution

Swedish law shall apply to these Terms.

Disputes that cannot be resolved through dialogue shall be decided by a general court with the Company's domicile as the first instance.

Environmental Policy – YOKU BUSS AB

YOKU BUSS AB conducts its business with long-term responsibility for the environment and future generations. The Company strives to continuously reduce its environmental impact and follow relevant environmental laws, regulations and industry requirements.

The Company undertakes to:

  • Minimize emissions by using modern, environmentally classified vehicles and by optimizing driving distances and fuel consumption.
  • Perform regular service and maintenance to ensure that vehicles meet current environmental requirements.
  • Train drivers in economical driving and sustainable practices.
  • Minimize waste and work for responsible handling of consumables.
  • Evaluate and improve the Company's environmental work continuously, and encourage suppliers and partners to follow similar environmental standards.

By hiring YOKU BUSS AB, the Customer contributes to a more environmentally friendly and sustainable transport alternative.

GDPR Policy – Processing of Personal Data

YOKU BUSS AB processes personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (GDPR) and complementary Swedish data protection legislation.

1. Purpose of Processing

The Company processes personal data for the following purposes:

  • Administration of bookings and transport assignments
  • Customer support and communication
  • Invoicing and financial management
  • Fulfillment of legal obligations

2. Categories of Data

The Company may process the following data: name, phone number, email address, billing information, booking information and other information that the Customer provides in connection with the order.

3. Legal Basis

The processing is mainly based on:

  • Contractual relationship (to be able to fulfill the contract)
  • Legal obligation (e.g., bookkeeping)
  • Legitimate interest (communication and customer service)

4. Storage of Data

Personal data is stored only as long as necessary for the purposes and thereafter in accordance with applicable bookkeeping and storage requirements.

5. Sharing of Data

The Company does not disclose personal data to third parties without the Customer's explicit consent, except for:

  • authority requirements,
  • necessary handling of payments, or
  • suppliers who assist the Company (e.g., billing systems) and who are covered by data processing agreements.

6. Customer Rights

The Customer has the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction of processing of their personal data, as well as the right to object to the processing. Requests are made in writing to the Company.
